The Lion in Winter

Dec. 5-7 & 12-14, 2025
Mainstage Classic

Sibling rivalry, adultery, and dungeons – The Lion in Winter, by James Goldman is a modern-day classic brimming with wit and political warfare. Comedic in tone, dramatic in action – the play tells the aging King Henry II and his imprisoned queen, Eleanor of Aquitaine, as they spar over which of their three sons will inherit the throne. With Christmas as the backdrop, the Plantagenet family gathers for a holiday full of betrayal, manipulation, and razor-sharp banter. This is royal dysfunction at its finest - where love is a weapon, power is the prize, and no one escapes unscathed.

Rogers & Hammerstein's Cinderella (Enchanted Edition)

Mainstage Musical
Feb. 6-8, 13-15, & 20-22, 2026

Inspired by the acclaimed 1997 teleplay starring Brandy and Whitney Houston, this version of the magical fairy tale is reborn with the Rodgers & Hammerstein hallmarks of originality, charm and elegance. With a dazzling score, unforgettable characters, and a fresh take on a timeless story, Cinderella reminds us that kindness is powerful, dreams are worth chasing, and sometimes, magic happens when you least expect it.

Moon Over Buffalo

Apr. 3-5 & 10-12
Mainstage Classic

Charlotte and George Hay are on tour in Buffalo in 1953 with a repertory consisting of Cyrano de Bergerac (the "revised, one nostril version") and Noel Coward's Private Lives, when they receive word that Hollywood director Frank Capra is coming to see their matinee - offering one final shot at the stardom they've always dreamed of. What follows is a whirlwind of backstage mayhem, mistaken identities, missed cues, romantic chaos, and drunken swordplay. As everything spirals out of control, it's up to this eccentric, aging couple to somehow keep the show (and their marriage) from falling apart before the curtain rises.

Arsenic & Old Lace

May 15-17 & 22-24, 2026
Mainstage Classic

We meet the charming and innocent Brewster sisters, who populate their cellar with the remains of socially and religiously "acceptable" roomers; their brother Teddy, who believes he's Theodore Roosevelt and charges up San Juan Hill daily; and their other brother— well, these require no further description or amplification here. Arsenic & Old Lace is a timeless, laugh-out-loud classic that blends dark humor, rapid-fire dialogue, and just the right dose of murder. It's a must-see comedy for all generations!

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs of the Black Forest

July 10-12 & 17-19, 2026

All the characters you love are here: Snow White, the seven funny little men, and King Absent Minded. Bella, his new wife, part queen, part witch, but far funnier than frightening. Her servant, the frantic Maid Dim Witty and the handsome and conceited Prince Goodhearted add additional comedy to this classic tale. There are also some new characters created for this dramatic version including Snow White's animal friends and the fascinating Miss Time, whose father, Father Time, started the whole Once Upon a Time business.
